Erysimum Duo

This Erysimum Duo delivers a dazzling kaleidoscope of multi-coloured blooms for months. Each flower changes as it matures, morphing through various shades so that at any one time plants are covered in blooms at various stages, creating a tapestry of colour. Erysimum ‘Artist Paintbox’ comes in a palette of peachy orange and mauves whilst Erysimum ‘Constant Cheer’ shifts through orange/red, pink, and purple hues. Their racemes of fragrant flowers are held just above compact and bushy mounds of semi-evergreen foliage and are a magnet for bees and butterflies. Both varieties are fast-growing, drought-resistant and tolerant of poor soils.

You can’t beat Perennial Wallflowers for sheer flower power. Pumping out blooms from April, throughout summer and often into autumn, they are truly garden-worthy plants that make adding long-lasting colour to any size garden effortless. Although they are short-lived, lasting 2-3 years, these plants are so rewarding and root from cuttings so easily that this doesn’t deter from their value. Height: 30cm (12in).
