Flowering in spring, then again in summer, Exochorda 'Magical Springtime' is a lovely, compact flowering deciduous shrub, that is ideal for small gardens, or in a planter, on a large patio, or decking area. It has a profusion of white flowers, that grow from the base to the tip of its stem. Height and spread: 1.5m (59").

After flowering, cut back the flowered shoots to strong buds lower down the stems. Large, mature Exochorda plants will also benefit from a fifth of the oldest stems being cut back to the base of the plant each year.
