Fatsia japonica is an invaluable evergreen shrub, providing bold foliage interest throughout the year even in challenging, shaded positions. The dark green form is deservedly popular but a little plain. However, these two stunning varieties prove that evergreens don't have to be boring - both are splashed in variegated greens which add life and light to those dingy areas where Fatsias prove so useful. In autumn, they produce clusters of globular white flowers followed by black berries. Height and spread: 2m (78").

Fatsia Duo contains one of each of the following varieties:

Fatsia ‘Spiders Web’ - a particularly intriguing variety with speckled markings that spread inwards from the margins. The overall effect is an unusual, frosted appearance.
Fatsia ‘Camouflage’ - bears large, deeply dissected leaves, boldly patterned in green and gold.

Plant Fatsia japonica into moist, but well-drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Plants will perform best in a sheltered corner.

For best results, provide a moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Can also be grown in containers of good, soil-based potting mix. Give a balanced liquid feed monthly during the summer. Water plants sparingly during winter and give frost protection in cooler regions.
