Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

Hardy, long-flowering, easy to maintain, adaptable to sun or shade and most soil types, it’s no wonder fuchsias are so popular. This trio brings together three of the best – all have received an RHS Award of Garden Merit and will produce masses of elegant flowers on compact, upright, bushy plants ideal for containers or borders.

Fuchsia Whip Trio comprises the following three varieties:

  • Fuchsia ‘Garden News’ - Masses of magenta pink flowers with frosty pink sepals throughout summer. Height and spread: 50cm (20").
  • Fuchsia ‘Display’ – A showy fuchsia with all-pink flowers which is often chosen for exhibiting. Height: 75cm (30"). Spread: 60cm (24").
  • Fuchsia ‘Snow Cap’ Frilly white petticoats contrast beautifully with scarlet outer sepals. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 50cm (20in).

3 x 10.5cm Potted Plants (1 of each variety) (KF1567)

Grow Fuchsias on in warm, frost-free conditions. Pinch out the growing tips while fuchsia plants are still small to promote bushier growth and more flowers. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a 7 to 10 day period, before planting them in their final positions in patio containers and sunny or semi shaded borders.
Feed and water fuchsia plants regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to prolong the flowering period.
