Create an eye catching perennial display in your cottage garden borders with this Geranium Hardy Double Collection. Low maintenance and undemanding, these hardy perennials are 'must have' for any cottage garden planting scheme and make a wonderful addition to herbaceous borders where their informal clump-forming habits will create colourful ground cover, even in shady areas.

Your collection includes:

Geranium himalayense 'Birch Double' - Intense double violet-blue flowers adorn this vigorous hardy geranium. The distinctive dark green leaves with furrowed veining turn to a beautiful orange-red in autumn. Also known as 'Birch's Double'.

Geranium pratense 'Plenum Caeruleum' - Double blue flowers that are gently flushed with pink are a delight in summer and the finely cut foliage of Geranium pratense 'Plenum Caeruleum' forms attractive mounds that soften the edges of perennial borders.

Geranium pratense 'Summer Skies' - Tightly frilled, mauve-pink flowers with contrasting yellow centres. This double hardy geranium has a tall branching stems with deeply cut foliage.

Water regularly until fully established. Remove old foliage and faded flower stems throughout the growing season to promote continuous fresh growth. In autumn, cut the foliage back completely. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant in spring. Lift and divide hardy geranium plants every third year to maintain their vigour.

Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
