If you are looking for a traditional geranium to grow in garden borders or planters, with rich scarlet red flowers, Geranium 'Power Red' is a great choice. The plant is named after the founder of the National Trust, who was a prominent social reformer of the Victorian age. This large Zonal Pelargonium has great weather tolerance, and will flower continuously from the start of summer, until mid autumn, if regular deadheading (removal of dead flower stems) is carried out. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 45cm (18").
Although technically perennial, Pelargoniums are only half hardy and therefore normally treated as annuals in the UK. However, with care, they may be overwintered in a frost free greenhouse.

Feed and water geranium plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of geranium flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
