We are always excited to add new colours to our range of Heucheras, and whilst most varieties with coloured foliage tend to have insignificant white flowers, Heuchera ‘Sweet Caroline’ is distinguished by offering attractive pink flowers alongside contrasting lime-green foliage. The leaves emerge as bright lemon-green in spring, transitioning to lime green in summer and taking on a silver cast in autumn. In spring and early summer, tall, pale pink flowers hover above the tight mounds of leaves. Heuchera ‘Sweet Caroline’ is perfect for adding flair to containers, softening the edge of borders or planted en masse as groundcover. Height: 25cm (10in). Spread: 40cm (16in).

Heuchera plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to waterlogging. Plant them in moist, fertile, well drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position towards the front of the border in full sun or semi shade.

Feed and water coral flower plants regularly until they are fully established.Apply a mulch of well rotted manure around the crown of each plant each spring. Lift and divide clumps of heuchera plants every 3 years in autumn to maintain vigorous, healthy growth.
