A profusion of small, bright flowers with central domes of golden stamens add a splash of sunshine to summer borders. Hypericum 'Gemo' is a neat rounded variety with a bushy habit and narrow semi-evergreen foliage. Commonly known as St. John's Wort, this dependable shrub will tolerate most growing conditions, including shade and poor, dry soils. Low maintenance and easy to grow, Hypericum 'Gemo' makes an excellent choice for mixed borders. Height and spread: 90cm (36").

Plant St. John’s Wort in any garden soil and in a position that is sheltered from cold winds. Hypericum is a versatile plant coping well in poor, dry soils and even thriving in deep shade.

Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young Hypericums plants become established. Mature plants require little attention throughout the growing season. After flowering, lightly prune evergreen Hypericum plants to remove any damaged or dead growth and maintain a pleasing shape.
