Water Juniper plants regularly throughout the growing season until fully established. Juniper 'Skyrocket' requires very little pruning other than to maintain its shape if needed.
Caution: irritant to skin and eyes. Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply. Plant Rocky Mountain juniper at the same level as it was in its pot. Alternatively grow Junipers in large containers using soil based compost such as John Innes No.3
