Lagerstroemia deserves to be better known in UK gardens! This deciduous shrub has a neat, rounded habit that makes it ideal for smaller sheltered borders and patio pots. The glossy foliage and richly coloured flowers of Lagerstroemia indica 'Berry Dazzle' produce a long-lasting display that will see you through the whole summer. This variety has improved hardiness making it a more reliable choice for UK gardeners. Height: 1.2m (4'). Spread: 1m (3').

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Plant Lagerstroemia in any rich fertile soil in full sun. Although reasonably hardy once established, Crepe Myrtle enjoys a hot sheltered position and is best grown against a south facing wall or as a specimen plant in the conservatory.
Feed and water Lagerstroemia regularly particularly when grown in containers. Crepe Myrtle plants will appreciate some protection from hard frosts throughout winter. Prune in winter or spring whilst dormant to remove and dead, damaged or misplaced stems and maintain a pleasing shape.
