Citrus - Lemon

An outstanding variety that produces large and thick skinned lemons. The tiny white flowers will contrast beautifully against the dark and flossy foliage while filling the air with their stunning fragrance from April through to June. Lemon 'Eureka' fruits may take up to a year to ripen but they are well worth the wait. Harvest as they ripen and once picked you can keep these for up to two weeks. Lemon trees are reasonably hardy and capable of withstanding brief periods below 0C. However, we advise planting in large containers so they can be moved indoors to a bright and frost free position from Autumn through to Spring. Self fertile, you will not need a pollination companion. Propagated onto 'PS' rootstock and supplied as a large specimen bush (often in fruit) in a 5 litre pot. Estimated time to cropping once planted: 1 year, Estimated time to best yields: 3 years. Eventual height: 3m (9'). Spread: 2.5m (8').
