Leucanthemum ‘Real Deal’ makes a rewarding choice for long-flowering container arrangements, edging or gap-filling at the front of the border. Green buds open into large, fully double, button-like flowers in lemon yellow with contrasting dark golden centres. A full canopy of blooms is carried on very strong stems above tidy mounds of glossy foliage. With regular deadheading, Leucanthemum ‘Real Deal’ will flower for weeks from June to September. The strong stems make it perfect for cutting, whilst improved disease resistance ensures superior garden performance. Leucanthemum ‘Real Deal’ is a robust but beautiful perennial that is drought tolerant once established and copes with poor soils providing they are freely draining. Height: 40cm (16in). Spread: 30cm (12in).

Pot up plugs and grow on until all danger of frost has passed before planting out in borders or containers. Grow Shasta Daisies in any moist, well drained soil in sunny or semi shaded borders.

Feed and water regularly until plants are established. Deadhead faded leucanthemum flowers throughout summer to promote a constant supply of fresh blooms. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of shasta daisy in spring or late summer, after flowering. Reduce the old stems to ground level in autumn.
