The papery blooms will withstand intense heat and last for ages in borders, rock gardens or containers. Once picked, they’ll continue to sustain their colour and form, making charming bouquets and vase arrangements. They can also be dried or pressed for long term displays. Limonium ‘Hipster’ boasts a high flower count in a wide array of rich colours and makes a great low maintenance choice for attracting bees and butterflies to wildlife friendly gardens. Pot up Statice plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown, acclimatise Limonium plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting outdoors on light, sandy, well drained soil in full sun. Improve heavy soil conditions by adding coarse grit or sharp sand prior to planting.Feed and water regularly until Statice plants are fully established. To use as a dried flower, cut the stems when the foliage is dry and the flowers are well coloured. Tie Statice flowers in small bunches and hang them upside down in a dry, well ventilated place until completely dry.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
