This low lying evergreen shrub is covered in a profusion of star shaped, brilliant blue flowers throughout late spring and summer. Lithodora diffusa 'Heavenly Blue' looks great in rockeries, containers, and along the edge of borders, especially alongside other plants with blue, purple and white flowers. It grows well in full sun and partial shade. The Royal Horticultural Society has awarded this plant its Award of Garden Merit. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Lithodora diffusa requires a well drained, acid soil that is rich in organic matter. Choose a position in full sun.

Feed and water Lithodora plants regularly until they are fully established. After flowering, lightly trim the tips of Lithodora stems to maintain compact bushy growth.
