This bushy Winter-flowering Honeysuckle blooms in the cold winter months when most other plants are dormant. Creamy white tubular flowers decorate the woody stems from December to March, often followed by dull red berries that provide food for hungry birds. Lonicera fragrantissima can be grown as a free standing shrub, but flowers at its best if trained against a wall where it will often remain semi-evergreen. A great choice for a woodland garden, or planted close to a doorway where you will benefit from its fabulous winter perfume. Height: 300cm (118"). Spread: 200cm (79").

Grow Lonicera in any moist, well drained garden soil. Shrubby honeysuckles enjoy a sunny or semi-shaded position.

An easy to grow, low-maintanance shrub for the garden. Pruning is not required other than to shape the plant if required; this should be done during winter or spring.
