Modular Wooden Compost Bin

This modular composting system makes is easy to dispose of green garden waste and create your own homemade compost. With an attractive wooden design, they boast a traditional appearance with modern fuss-free construction using a slat system that requires no nails or screws! The bins are all manufactured from managed forests and treated with non-toxic preservative.

Start with a Wooden Compost Bin base unit consisting of 4 posts and 20 panels. This 573 litre capacity bin is the beginning of your composting journey! The slats can be evenly spaced to allow good aeration, which is important when composting.

However, compost also benefits from turning every so often. Make this job easier by adding a Compost Module to the side of your original bin. This consists of 2 posts and 15 panels which are designed to attach to your original base unit, so that compost can be turned straight into it. You can keep adding further bins to accommodate all of your garden waste.

In winter, you can keep the temperatures up in your compost heap with a Wooden Compost Bin System Duvet made from woven polypropylene and plastic bubble wrap with brass eyelets. This prevents heat from escaping during the coldest months to allow continuous decomposition.

Each bin measures: 91cm (3') square x 68cm (27") high.
