Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

This rare beauty is much in demand. Grown from tissue culture by one laboratory in Thailand, its release has been eagerly anticipated and the results certainly don’t disappoint!

Big, bold, deeply fenestrated leaves splashed with cream variegation makes this Monstera really stand out from the crowd. The creamy marbling can be up to 3 inches in size and is a stable characteristic, so the leaves won’t revert to green. However, the variegation does mean that it requires plenty of bright, indirect light to keep it healthy and maintain the best leaf colour. This stunning Monstera is not as fast-growing as its plain green cousins but it is still quite capable of maturing into a large, architectural statement which will undoubtedly attract plenty of admirers! Like other Monsteras, ‘Thai Constellation’ is equipped with aerial roots and is best climbed up a moss pole or other support. Height and spread: 2.5m (ft).

1 x 12cm Potted Plant (KF4479)

Grow in average room temperatures of 18C (65F) - 24C (75F). Do not allow temperatures to fall below 12C (55F). Position in bright, indirect light, well away from direct sunlight. Unlike plain green Monsteras, 'Thai Constellation' will not tolerate shady conditions. Avoid positioning this plant close to cold draughts and radiators.
Water regularly, allowing the top 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings and ensuring that the root ball does not become saturated. Monstera 'Thai Constellation' appreciates a humid atmosphere - stand it on a tray filled with pebbles and water. As the water evaporates it will increase humidity around the plant. Misting the foliage daily with a fine spray will also help to improve humidity. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth.
