Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

This stunning tender perennial is most popularly grown as a bedding plant. Nemesia 'Wisley Vanilla' produces pretty white blooms with a pastel pink tone and a yellow eye throughout the Spring and Summer months. This deciduous plant has a strong sweet vanilla smell. With a bushy habit these are perfect for growing in flower borders, beds or patio containers in cottage, wildlife and courtyard gardens. Grow in full sun in moist and well drained soil. Water freely throughout dry weather to keep these flowering. Height 30cm (12”) and spread 25cm (10”).

Pot up plants and grow them on in warm, frost free conditions for transplanting at a later date. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem while the plants are still young to promote bushier growth. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise nemesia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final positions. Grow nemesia plants in containers, hanging baskets or beds in any moist, non alkaline, well drained soil. Choose a position in full sun.

Feed and water plants regularly. Cut back faded flower stems to encourage more nemesia flowers to be produced throughout summer.
