Nephrolepis exaltata

Grow Boston fern in a bright spot away from direct sunlight. Keep the compost moist (but not waterlogged) at all times, though watering can be reduced slightly in winter. Nephrolepis exaltata thrives in a humid atmosphere, so steamy bathrooms are ideal. If not, mist the leaves regularly or place the pot on pebbles in a shallow tray of water. As the water evaporates it humidifies the air around the plant. Maintain temperatures between 10 and 25°C.
