It has a striking tree-like appearance with curiously flattened, branching pads which have earned it the nickname ‘Road Kill Cactus’. The pads are covered with bumps from which grow small spines. Their unusual shape makes for a striking indoor plant with a ‘Spaghetti Western’ vibe! Originating from the arid deserts of Mexico, this Opuntia will enjoy a sunny spot and only requires occasional watering, so it’s perfect for neglectful gardeners who want a piece of living sculpture in their home. Grow in bright direct light. During the growing season water when the top few inches of soil are completely dry. Allow to drain thoroughly after watering. Feed once a month during spring and summer with cactus feed. Reduce watering during winter dormancy.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
