Osmanthus delavayi 'Perfume of Nature' is a compact evergreen shrub that thrives in borders, containers, or woodland settings, offering all-year-round structure and colour plus the bonus of a fabulous fragrance.

Osmanthus delavayi 'Perfume of Nature' delights with clusters of perfumed, tubular white blooms from late winter into early spring. Filling the air with a jasmine-like scent, these exquisite flowers appear from March to April, bringing beauty and fragrance to gardens of any size. Small, glossy deep green leaves provide year-round interest and an excellent backdrop to summer displays. It makes a great choice for medium-sized hedging. Height: 1.5 - 2 m (5 - 6 ft). Spread: 1 - 1.5 m (3 - 5 ft).

Grow Osmanthus in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Plants will tolerate a wide range of soils, from sand to chalk and clay.

Osmanthus plants should be pruned immediately after flowering. Lightly cut back flowered shoots, and remove any dead, diseased or damaged growth.
