Be prepared to be star-struck by this heavenly collection of glittering petunias. Petunia ‘Sky Mix’ represents a breakthrough in petunia breeding – each features a unique pattern of speckles and splashes against a richly coloured background recreating a sparkling sky. Large, weather-resistant blooms and a semi-trailing, compact habit makes these star-studded petunias perfect for containers and baskets.

Petunia ‘Sky Mix’ comprises the following varieties:

  • Petunia 'Night Sky' – Winner of both a Fleurostar award and a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit! A unique petunia with white speckles against a deep velvety purple-blue backdrop recreating a clear night sky.
  • Petunia ‘Lightning Sky’ - The first ever star and dot patterned Petunia. White stars against a deep red background with one large star in the centre.
  • Petunia 'Lavender Sky' Speckled blooms which fade from dark violet to palest lilac, creating a stunning multi-tonal effect.
  • Petunia ‘Circus Sky’ A combination of white stars and splashes against a magenta-pink background.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Pot up petunia plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well drained soil, in full sun.
Feed and water petunia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of petunia flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.

Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.
