Alternatively, allow it to cascade from a large basket or use it to form a spreading carpet of vivid ground cover. Fragrant, 2in, bright magenta blooms are held on vigorous, weather-resistant plants that can grow up to 6 foot in one season. Height and spread: 175cm (70”).
This selection includes a black and gold Tower Pot which has been specially designed to train plants into pillars of colour on your patio. Easy to assemble, the sturdy lattice frame is ideal for all types of climbing plants, including climbing petunias, climbing geraniums and sweet peas. Simply guide the stems on to the Tower Pot™ frame and secure with soft twine. We recommend that you wear gardening gloves when removing old plants from the frame to protect your hands.

Pot up petunia plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well drained soil, in full sun.Feed and water petunia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of petunia flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time.
