Potentilla fruticosa ‘Glamour Girl’ boasts exceptionally pretty flowers in an unusual bi-colour. Peach petals are edged with pink and adorned with a golden eye. The flowers fade to pure pink as they age.

Potentilla are hardy, deciduous shrubs that are perfect for the front of sunny, free-draining borders. These hardworking and undemanding shrubs flower continuously through summer and most of the autumn, their saucer-shaped blooms shining out amongst low mounds of tiny, mid-green foliage that provides excellent ground cover. Drought-tolerant, they are perfect for rockeries, patios and courtyard gardens where they can be grown in the open ground or in containers. The nectar-rich flowers attract a host of beneficial insects making them great for wildlife gardens too. Height: 80cm (31in). Spread: 75cm (29in).

Grow potentilla in any moderately fertile, well drained soil in full sun.

Feed and water regularly until young potentilla plants are fully established. Shrubby Potentilla plants should be pruned after flowering. Remove any damaged or dead stems before cutting back the flowered stems to within 2.5cm (1") of the previous year’s growth.
