A deserving holder of a RHS AGM award, Potentilla fruticosa 'Sommerflor' is a hardy, deciduous shrub that is easy to grow and provides plenty of colour throughout the summer and autumn seasons. The small grey-green leaves form a dense backdrop for the vividly bright yellow flowers, which almost appear to glow in your garden. An ideal specimen for container planting as well as being used in a bed or border! Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 100cm (39").

Grow potentilla in any moderately fertile, well drained soil in full sun.

Feed and water regularly until young potentilla plants are fully established. Shrubby Potentilla plants should be pruned after flowering. Remove any damaged or dead stems before cutting back the flowered stems to within 2.5cm (1") of the previous year’s growth.
