It’s difficult not to fall head over heels in love with Rosa ‘Crazy in Love Red’!  The ‘Crazy in Love’ series reaps all the benefits of modern breeding: superb vigour, healthy, glossy, dark green foliage and a glorious abundance of blooms throughout summer. ‘Crazy in Love Red’ boasts cup-shaped, slightly scented double red flowers that have a clear, luminous colour. Train the arching stems up a trellis, wall or arbour to create a sumptuous and romantic garden display. Height: up to 4m (13ft). Spread: 2m (6.5ft).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Plant potted roses at the earliest opportunity. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
Feed and water rose plants regularly and deadhead faded flowers. When growing roses it is necessary to remove any suckers that arise from the base of the plant, below the graft union. In late summer begin pruning climbing roses by removing dead and diseased wood, and any rubbing or damaged stems. For the first two years the remaining stems should be trained horizontally on wires. From the third year, the main stems can be reduced to maintain the plant within the available growing space. Side shoots should be reduced to 3 buds. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost to the base of the plant after pruning.
