Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

This low maintenance stonecrop makes spreading carpets of fleshy, red-tinged leaves which will quickly colonise walls, border edges and rockeries. From mid to late summer, Sedum spurium ‘Coccineum’ is smothered in clusters of hot pink, star-shaped flowers forming blankets of colour which provide useful groundcover in dry sunny spots on poor soil. The flowers are highly attractive to pollinating insects. Height: 10cm (4in). Spread: 50cm (20in).

Height Up to 45-60cm (18-23in)

1 x 1 Litre Potted Plant (KC9143)

Grow sedum in a sunny position in fertile, well drained, non acidic soil that has been enriched with well rotted manure or garden compost.
When growing sedum, water regularly during particularly hot dry periods until the plants are fully established. Cut back the old stems and foliage of spreading stonecrop plants after flowering to maintain their shape. Sedum is drought tolerant once fully established. Caution: All parts are harmful if eaten.
