Sempervivum 'Lemon Flare'

An exceptionally pretty succulent with gorgeous colouring plus a dusting of silvery cobwebs! The yellow rosettes of Sempervivum 'Lemon Flare' are adorned with a ring of bright red markings in spring and summer, forming a striking colour contrast. As the weather cools, the rosettes transition to lime green whilst developing a web of silvery cobwebs in the centre. From May to July, it produces clusters of starry pink flowers.

Over time, Sempervivum 'Lemon Flare' produces multiple ‘chicks’, forming neat cushions composed of many dense rosettes. It makes a lovely specimen for a terracotta pot or trough. Alternatively, tuck it into paving cracks, rock or wall crevices or use it on a ‘living roof’. It can also be grown on a sunny windowsill indoors as a houseplant. Sempervivums are perfect for collecting as plants readily produce babies. They are ideal for novice or busy gardeners who forget to water their plants, whilst children will love planting them into their 'mini-gardens'. 

Low maintenance, drought-tolerant and hardy down to -20C, Sempervivum ‘Lemon Flare’ is happy to be grown outdoors providing it has excellent drainage. Height: 10cm (4in). Spread: 15cm (6in).
