Description Sowing Delivery Reviews
This hardy perennial herb is easy to grow and adds leafy texture and a tart flavour to a mixed leaf salad. Young sorrel leaves are used extensively in French cuisine, being particularly flavoursome in fish dishes, soups, stews and sauces. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

1 Packet (1000 Seeds) (23677)

Direct sow sorrel seed outdoors from March to May. Grow sorrel in a well prepared, moist, seedbed in full sun or partial shade. Sow seeds thinly at a depth of 1cm (1/2") in drills 30cm apart. When seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to 15cm (6in) apart. Fortnightly sowings of sorrel will ensure an ongoing supply of young sorrel leaves for adding to salads.
