With a compact, weeping habit, Styrax 'Fragrant Fountain' is a wonderful new specimen plant for the border, or as a centrepiece in a lawn. Grow Styrax in moist but well drained conditions in rich, fertile soil. Japanese snowbells will grow in full sun or partial shade but will require some protection from cold or drying winds.

Feed and water well until established, prune in winter to remove unwanted or damaged stems.
