This mixture of cheery semi-double blooms in harmonious shades make a bright and long-lasting summer display. Tanacetum coccineum 'Semi-double Mix’, also known as Painted Daisy, is a pretty blend of daisy-like blooms which open from early summer onwards revealing yellow button centres which are loved by bees and other pollinators. A fully hardy perennial with a sturdy, upright habit, perfect for growing in groups or swathes in garden borders. Not only are they a joy to have in the garden, but they’re also a popular choice for cut flowers too with long-lasting blooms and generous stem length. Height: 75cm (29”). Spread: 45cm (18”).

Tanacetum is tolerant of most soils except for heavy, wet ground. Improve heavy soil conditions by adding coarse grit or sharp sand prior to planting.

Feed and water plants until they are fully established. Deadhead faded tanacetum flowers as they fade to encourage a second flush of flowers to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of tanacetum plants in spring. Caution: Contact with tanacetum foliage may irritate the skin and eyes.
