Tradescantia 'Nanouk' features stunning stripey green and silver leaves flushed with pink and revealing flashes of their purple undersides. Plant ‘Nanouk’ in a hanging pot and allow its trailing stems to tumble and catch the light – on close inspection you will see a magical sparkle on the foliage as though it has been sprinkled with tiny specks of glitter! Largely grown for its fabulous foliage, Tradescantia ‘Nanouk’ also bears tiny 3-petalled pinkish-white flowers in terminal clusters at various times of the year. This showy houseplant is an absolute cinch to grow and deservedly covets an RHS Award of Garden Merit. Ultimate height: 30cm (12in). Ultimate spread: 60cm (24in).

Position Tradescantia in a warm room away from cold draughts and radiators, with an average temperature of 18C (65F) - 27C (80F). For the best leaf colour, choose a bright position in good light, but away from the glare of direct sun.

Water frequently to maintain evenly moist compost. Avoid leaving Tradescantia in standing water as this may cause it to rot. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth. Tradescantia will benefit from regular misting to increase humidity and prevent the leaf edges drying out.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
