An exciting new Verbena introduction, Verbena ‘Lavender Lace’ combines the airy nature of Verbena bonariensis with the tapered flower spires of Verbena hastata but in a richer pink colour – and all of this on shorter, more manageable plants. The lavender-pink flower spikes are held on long, wiry, dark stems complimented by small, serrated leaves with a purple sheen, especially on the younger foliage. Verbena ‘Lavender Lace’ boasts a long flowering season from June until September and excellent tolerance of drought and poor soils. Height and spread: 60cm (24in).

Grow Verbena in beds, borders and containers in a sheltered position in any moist, well drained soil in full sun.

Feed and water plants regularly until they are fully established. Verbena flowers do not require dead heading. Cut back the old stems when new shoots emerge at the base of the plant in spring.
