Description How to Grow More Info Delivery Reviews
A very elegant deciduous shrub producing pure white pom-pom flowers on graceful stems in late spring and early summer. Popular as a cut flower, Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' works well in cottage garden borders and makes an equally impressive specimen shrub. The maple-like leaves take on wonderful red and purple shades in the autumn for a vibrant late season display. Unlike the species, this variety is sterile so it wont produce berries. Happy in sun or full shade, the Snowball Tree is versatile, robust and easy to maintain and holds a prestigious RHS AGM. Height and spread: 4m (13').

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Grow Viburnum plants in a sunny or semi shaded position in any free draining soil.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young shrubs become established. Once established, Viburnum will require little attention. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain the shape of the plant and contain it within its allocated space. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant in spring.
