Lesser Periwinkle is one of the toughest plants money can buy, producing plants that flower relentlessly throughout the summer. Periwinkle is a vigorous, low growing shrub which thrives in almost any garden position, from full sun to the darkest, shady corners. The ground-covering stems of this plant provide evergreen, dark green foliage that can help to beat the weeds, with inky blue flowers from May to October. Unlike Vinca major which is highly invasive, Vinca minor are far less invasive and are recommended for small gardens. Perfect for filling those tricky areas of the garden where little else grows.
