Weigela All Summer Red 'Slingco 1' is a fantastic flowering shrub that is perfect for small gardens and for patio planters and containers. It has a profusion of lush red flowers that bloom from spring all the way through until autumn. The foliage is dark green, and contrasts brilliantly with the flowers. Its compact habit, means it is very easy to care for. Height & Spread: 75cm (30").

Water regularly throughout the growing season until young plants are fully established. In spring, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant. Weigela requires little pruning. After flowering cut back stems to a healthy bud and remove a fifth of the old stems to ground level.
