In spring, Weigela florida 'Monet' becomes smothered with pink tubular flowers which are attractive to bees. This fantastic deciduous shrub is fully hardy and its dwarf stature makes it ideal for growing in patio containers or the front of sunny borders. Height and spread: 60cm (24").

Grow Weigela in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil.Water regularly throughout the growing season until young Weigela plants are fully established. In spring, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant. Weigela requires little pruning. After flowering cut back stems to a healthy bud and remove a fifth of the oldest stems to ground level.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
