Its easy to see why Xerochrysum 'Granvia Gold' is commonly known as the Strawflower. The blooms have an unusual papery feel that gives them a long vase life as a fresh cut flower - and even longer if they are dried! The crisp petals of this variety are bright yellow, with orange centres that darken as the flowers age. These bushy little annuals make superb patio plants, and add a bright splash of colour to the front of sunny borders. They enjoy a free draining site and make a great choice for gravel gardens and coastal sites. Height and spread: 50cm (20").

Pot up Xerochrysum plugs and grow them on in warm, frost free conditions until all risk of frost has passed. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions before planting out in any fertile, moist but well drained soil in full sun.

Feed and water Xerochrysum after planting until plants are fully established.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.
