This compact deciduous shrub bears sunny yellow, star shaped flowers from June to August, atop elegant, upright branches. As autumn approaches, the eye-catching seed heads turn to a vibrant shade of orange-red, creating a long season of interest in the garden. Once established, Hypericum 'Orange Flair' grows virtually anywhere from fertile, moist soil to poor, dry conditions! This versatile shrub is excellent as ground cover in borders and woodland gardens, and can even be grown in patio containers as a stand-alone specimen. Height: 75cm (30"). Spread: 90cm (35"). Supplied in a 9cm pot.

Plant Rose of Sharon shrubs in any garden soil and position. Hypericum calycinum is a versatile plant coping well in poor, dry soils and even thriving in deep shade.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young Hypericums plants become established. Mature plants require little attention throughout the growing season. Prune Rose of Sharon plants back to ground level each spring to allow fresh new growth to develop.
