Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
The large flower heads of Agapanthus 'Full Moon' are an impressive sight in early summer. Masses of trumpet shaped blooms form large globes, perched upon stiffly upright stems. The pale blue petals are each striped with dark blue, making attractive contrast. Grow this African Lily in sunny borders or patio pots, where its strappy evergreen foliage will provide year round colour. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Grow Agapanthus plants in rich fertile, well drained soil, in a sunny position. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3 .
Feed and water African Lilies regularly throughout the growing season. Leave faded Agapanthus flower stems intact to enjoy their architectural seed heads during autumn. When the first frost blacken the seed heads, cut the stems back to ground level. Protect plants outdoors from severe winter weather by providing a dry mulch of bark chips or straw in late autumn. Container grown plants can be moved to a frost free position over winter. Divide agapanthus clumps in spring when they become over crowded.
