Delivery Information View Product DescriptionLoading...Description How to Grow More Info DeliveryThis low-maintenance creeping perennial creates a weed smothering carpet of colourful semi-evergreen leaves. The silvery foliage is decorated with creamy margins and flushed with burgundy tones. Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’ makes excellent ground cover in dry, shady spots under shrubs and along border edges where its creeping rhizomes form a spreading mat without being invasive. In late spring and early summer, it produces short spikes of whorled, two-lipped, deep blue flowers which are nectar-rich and highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. Height: 15cm (6"), Spread: indefinite.

Grow Bugle plants into any moist, well-drained soil. Plants will perform best in partial shade, as full sun can cause leaf scorch. Ajuga will even tolerate poor soils in full shade. Makes excellent ground cover for shady corners.Ajuga plants are virtually maintenance-free, and do not required any pruning. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps every three years to maintain their vigour.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
