2 x 1 Litre Potted Plants (T82223P)

Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten. Pot up plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in frost free conditions. When aquilegia plants are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days and transplant into beds and patio containers. Plant columbines in a sunny position in well drained soil.
In autumn, remove old foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant. Lift and divide perennials in autumn every third year to maintain their vigour. Aquilegia seeds freely, though rarely to nuisance level, so you will never be short of new seedlings to fill gaps in borders!
