Delivery Information View Product DescriptionLoading...Description How to Grow More Info DeliveryThis tough little maritime plant copes wonderfully with dry, sun-baked positions, forming low tussocks of evergreen, needle-like leaves amongst rockeries, on the tops of walls, or at the edges of droughty borders. In late spring and summer, Armeria maritima ‘Splendens’ produces deep pink, tufty flower heads on the top of long stems. The flowers attract foraging bees. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 25cm (10").

Plant Armeria in full sun on well drained soil. Sea Thrift is tolerant of poor sandy soils once established and copes well in coastal areas. On heavier soils, incorporate plenty of grit to improve drainage, prior to planting.Deadhead faded flowers to extend the flowering season throughout the summer. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of armeria in spring to maintain their vigour.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
