This striking evergreen groundcover plant produces a mat of gorgeous variegated leaves with clean white edges. In early and mid spring, vibrant violet-purple flowers completely smother the foliage with colour. Aubrieta 'Dr Mules Variegata' is excellent for all-year-round interest in the garden and is perfect for rock gardens, patio containers, spilling over sunny banks or as ground cover in hot dry borders. The flowers are also a great source of spring nectar for pollinating insects. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Cut Aubrieta plants back after flowering to promote a fresh flush of growth and maintain their compact form.
Grow Aubrieta in any well drained soil in full sun at 45cm (18") apart to form a dense carpet. If planting on heavy or clay soils, dig in plenty of coarse grit or sharp sand to improve drainage prior to planting.
