In early and mid spring, vibrant violet-purple flowers completely smother the foliage with colour. Aubrieta 'Dr Mules Variegata' is excellent for all-year-round interest in the garden and is perfect for rock gardens, patio containers, spilling over sunny banks or as ground cover in hot dry borders. The flowers are also a great source of spring nectar for pollinating insects. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Grow Aubrieta in any well drained soil in full sun at 45cm (18") apart to form a dense carpet. If planting on heavy or clay soils, dig in plenty of coarse grit or sharp sand to improve drainage prior to planting.Cut Aubrieta plants back after flowering to promote a fresh flush of growth and maintain their compact form.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
