Japanese lantern buds swell out to burst forth as striking pink-tentacled flowers on this truly unusual variety. Campanula 'Pink Octopus' produces up to 50 of these amazing blooms on each upright branch, fluttering above strong, deeply cut foliage to give two months of summer colour. A unique and interesting low growing perennial for the front of a sunny border. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 25cm (10").

Grow Campanula outdoors in any moist, fertile, well drained, non-acidic soil. Bellflowers will thrive in sun or semi shade, but the dainty bell-flowers will last longer in a slightly shaded position.

Water regularly until Bellflower plants are fully established. Support tall Campanula flower stems with garden canes as they grow. After flowering, cut plants back to remove faded Campanula flowers to prevent them self seeding, and to promote a second flush of blooms.
