Corydalis requires fertile, humus-rich, well drained soil that won't sit wet over the winter months. Choose a position in light or dappled shade. Improve soil conditions by adding plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost prior to planting.
Water Corydalis plants regularly until they are fully established. Overcrowded clumps may be lifted and divided in autumn or spring.
