Digitalis Collection adds colour and vertical accents to borders in early summer, instantly evoking that romantic, cottage-garden look.

Foxglove ‘Candy Mountain’ (Biennial/Short-lived perennial) - An upward-facing foxglove bearing rose-pink flowers with freckled throats all round the very sturdy stems. Height: 140cm (56"). Spread: 45cm (18").
Foxglove ‘Apricot Beauty’ (Biennial/Short-lived perennial) - Tall spires in a variety of charming apricot shades with spotted throats. Height: 140cm (56"). Spread: 45cm (18").
Foxglove ‘Alba’ (Biennial/Short-lived perennial) – Pure white, unspotted flowers that glow in the shade – especially stunning at dusk. Height: 120cm (48"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Although foxgloves prefer a fertile, moist soil, they will happily tolerate almost any soil except those that are excessively dry or waterlogged. Grow in sun or partial shade. Digitalis obscura ‘Dusky Maid should be grown in full sun in well-drained soil with protection from hard frosts and excessive winter wet.

Water foxglove plants regularly until fully established. Foxgloves self-seed freely. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead stems of foxglove flowers as the blooms fade. In autumn, cut back old stems to encourage plenty of new side shoots. Caution: All parts of foxgloves are toxic if eaten, and contact with the foliage may irritate the skin and eyes.
