Delivery Information View Product DescriptionLoading...Description How to Grow More Info DeliveryFoxgloves are a classic cottage garden plant, thriving in mixed borders and shady woodland spots. Grown as a short-lived perennial or biennial, they look wonderful planted in drifts and left to self-seed, dotting themselves naturally around borders. Digitalis ‘Dalmatian Cream’ is a compact variety producing spikes of bell-shaped cream flowers speckled with deep purple above a basal rosette of slightly hairy leaves. The flowers are loved by bees. Removing the spent flower spikes will encourage a second flush of smaller flowers to develop from the base. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 35cm (14in).

Although foxgloves prefer a fertile, moist soil, they will happily tolerate almost any soil except those that are excessively dry or waterlogged.Water foxglove plants regularly until fully established. Foxgloves self-seed freely. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead stems of foxglove flowers as the blooms fade. In autumn, cut back old stems to encourage plenty of new side shoots. Caution: All parts of foxgloves are toxic if eaten, and contact with the foliage may irritate the skin and eyes.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
