Description How to Grow More Info Delivery Reviews
Commonly known as Shooting Stars, this unusual perennial deserves to be more widely grown in UK gardens. The spring blooms are similar to Cyclamen, with reflexed petals and a lovely deep pink colour, but carried on much taller, 45cm (18") stems. Dodecatheon meadia loves a cool, shady spot where it will add a splash of colour to spring planting schemes. By midsummer, the rosettes of foliage begin to die back and the plant enters a summer resting period before reappearing the following spring. Perfect for damp borders, woodland areas and pondside planting schemes. Height and Spread 45cm (18").
